Through God’s grace and after many months the upgrade of the main entrance canopy has been completed. This project was complex and necessary to replace the old canopy that existed for over 20 years.
The newly installed canopy is constructed mainly of Colorbond material which is extremely durable and has been connected to the church downpipes for water drainage which was not existent on the previous canopy. Two posts have been added on the street-side to hold up the canopy so it is not attached to the church fence - this is to allow free movement of both structures. The canopy comes with a warranty of 15 years structural and 10 years workmanship.
The second phase of this project will be the restoration of the main entrance doors which has been water damaged. God willing this will begin in the coming weeks.
